PetPlace

PetPlace is the consumer-facing front door of the Pet Loyalty / Independence Pet Holdings ecosystem — a pet-health information destination that also serves as the storefront for the family of services around it: 24Petwatch microchip registration and lost-pet recovery, ByteTag safety tags, an adoption marketplace with shelter matching, and a comparison surface for the major pet insurance carriers. The architectural interest sits at the integration layer: PetPlace is an aggregator that has to make many partner relationships feel like one product to the pet owner.

I served as Chief Customer Officer and Board Member at Pet Loyalty Inc. during the integration period after Adopets was acquired. My contribution to PetPlace was advisory and integration-focused — connecting the operator-side platforms (24PetShelter, 24PetRescue) and the consumer-side surface so that pet owners and shelters were touching the same underlying data, and so that the adoption marketplace and microchip registration flows reinforced each other. That is the strategic value of the bundle.

This is not a project I founded or built. The role here is honest: I helped lead post-acquisition integration for two years. The MDX does not claim specific traffic, partner, or revenue numbers — those belong to Pet Loyalty / IPH.
